At the evening of 10 February 2015, the 2015 New Year Concert named “雅韵三湘•裕田中国” was held in the Leifeng Theater, Wangcheng District. This concert was jointly sponsored by the CPC Changsha Wangcheng Direct Authority Work Committee*(中共长沙望城区直属机关工作委员会) and Richly Field China Development Limited, at which, the famous conductor Mr. Xiao Ming, together with Hunan Symphony Orchestra, performed over 10 Chinese and foreign musical masterpieces for more than 1,000 audiences, to deliver their sincere wishes for the New Year.
Mr. Tan Xiaoping (the Wangcheng CPC secretary) and Mr. Ma Jun (the chairman of the board and CEO of Richly Field China Development Limited) revealed the “雅韵三湘•裕田中国” 2015 New Year Concert by giving a speech in respect thereof.
This concert was conducted by the musician director of Hunan Symphony Orchestra Mr. Xiao Ming, during which, the audiences were presented with certain classical compositions, including among others, Spring Festival Overture, Carmen Overture, Radetzky March, Unter Donner und blitz, The Fifth Of Hungarian Dances. In addition, a number of young singers including the Chinese folk group “Spicy Girls*(辣妹子)”, the new generation soprano Ms. Liu Luxuan, Mr. Zhou Nan (the baritone who has been prized as the “Most Young Singer” in the San Marino Vocal Competition in Italy) and Mr. Qiu Wutao (a tenor of Hunan Dance & Opera Theater) performed almost ten classical songs for the audiences.
The concert climaxed with a saxophone work “Go Home” performed by the young saxophone player Mr. Kuang Yuan who obtained the master degree from the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music and won the second prize in the Ukrainian Kiev ICMU International Music Instrument Competition.
